Taylor Swift adds more dates to ‘Eras’ tour, including a third show in the L.A. area

Taylor Swift has added more dates to her extensive tour, including three new show dates in Los Angeles. She’ll play her first-ever shows in the city on Sept. 21-22 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. The shows will mark Swift’s third tour stop in the city, following earlier shows in 2015 and 2018. Swift also will play a fourth show at the Los Angeles Music Prize on Sept. 25 at the Greek Theatre. Swift is kicking off her world tour on Sept. 22 in Seattle, and wraps up on Dec. 7 in Dublin, Ireland.

L.A.’s Sports Arena, a 3,500-seat venue, is part of the LA Sports and Entertainment Complex and is home to the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings. Swift was a regular at the arena in 2015, where she also headlined her Swift House Tour with her husband, musician Jake Gyllenhaal.

Also this week: Swift and Gyllenhaal were spotted at Los Angeles restaurants on Sept. 18, and they were all smiles as they strolled through the city together. Swift also took the wraps off a new photo book she’s releasing with her husband and will be hosting a book-signing in the city on Sept. 21. On Sept. 18, she stopped by the Rose Bowl to take photos with the Los Angeles Rams.

Swift released her seventh album, Reputation, on Sept. 5 and will be performing one of its tracks — “Out of the Woods” — at a small stadium in downtown Los Angeles the day after the album’s release. The song also will be included on the Reputation Tour. Swift has announced that she’ll kick off the Reputation Tour on Oct. 2 in Boston at TD Garden. The tour starts in California and wraps up in Ireland on Nov. 2.

In addition to the new shows in Los Angeles, Swift has announced three additional shows on the Reputation Tour. The album’s opening track, “ME!,” is the first single from the album (alongside “Delicate,” which was released Feb. 1) and will be performed at all three additional shows. The other two shows will feature the album’s closing track, “I
