    Description

Offered is a vintage paper from the precursor of the Social Security Administration. This is a Certificate of Social Insurance Award from 1946, issued by the United States Federal Security Agency through the Social Security Board, Bureau of Old-Age and Survivors Insurance. It states that the man would be receiving the grand total of .46 monthly, it is quite interesting - on the back it states that if you earn more than .99 in any month, then you forfeit the Social Security payment for that month! The document measures 8 x 10½ inches, the paper is in very good used condition, with slight wear.
