    Description

    Big Kente cloth panel that I bought from my Mali salesman to show/sell in my upholstery/soft furnishings shop.
    It measures 129" in length (just over 3.5 yds) x 89" wide.
    I love working with textiles from around the world - just look at the fabulous ottoman, pillows and chair that I worked from the other panel I bought from him!  I love the softness of this Kente cloth, which someone else told me was likely a more modern, machine made (jacquard loom) piece - but the hundreds of narrow panels and squares are still whip-stitched by hand into this big piece.
