    Description

    This pin was originally worn in the early 1900's by a lady who was a dear friend of my grandmother.  Unfortunately some of the enamel is worn off, although it doesn't affect the gold lettering.  Please look carefully at the photos so you can see where it has worn off.  The back of the pin reads:  Caldwell 9.22.91 Patent.  It's 14K, as they were back in those days.  The name on the back is Daisy Sharpe Arndt.  Her DAR number is 62814.  Daisy was from Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin and her parents, and then Daisy and her husband, owned and ran Sharpe's Resort which was located along the lake front.
