    This is a Dogon Indigo Vintage Metal Silver Stitched Wedding Cloth from Mali, West Africa. This is a long Indigo cloth Silver pieces Stitched into an abstract cotton embroidery Pattern that is the unique expression of the individual artist. The Dogon weaver has done something very interesting with the Dogon cloth by incorporating embroidered brightly colored yarns which create geometric patterns with a variety of designs. Indigo dyes can be made from local plants in West Africa, using the leaves or seeds of these plants. Dogon indigo cloth is known as simplistic and is often plain, which makes these embroidered cotton abstract vibrant patterns on the indigo cloth so unique and one of a kind.
