Fact Check: The GOP’s dishonesty-filled barrage of ‘defund the police’ attack ads

By the time you finish reading these ads, you will understand why many Americans are so deeply cynical about the political process.

For example, there is a great deal of hypocrisy involved in the ads.

There is a real problem when politicians and their party tell us to support them, but do not do the things they claim to want to do in their campaign promises. And then when you suggest they do the things they promise to do, they attack you for undermining them.

In this case, the attacks are against the cops, which is another example, of course, of the GOP’s dishonesty-filled onslaught of “defund the police” attack ads.

The ad, from the Republican National Committee, is called “The Great American Police Mascot Debate.”

It is, of course, nothing more than GOP boilerplate. But this is a major problem for the GOP because, as we mentioned, when you attack the cops, you are actually attacking the very reason for having police in the first place.

The thing about police and crime is that they are created by and for criminals, or gangs, on the basis of the idea that the police officers will do the crime-fighting for you. In practical terms, this is nothing more than a protection racket, where police give you your protection without any obligation to do anything.

This is why when someone is killed by a police officer, the media always report it as “a rogue cop.” If you want to know why the cops cannot stop crime, it is because they are working for the criminals. So the only way to cut the cops out of the equation, is to cut police off from the criminals — and that is what the GOP wants to do.

However, the problem with the GOP attack ad is that it makes you wonder, “Do the GOP really believe the cops are all corrupt?”
