A helicopter carrying Jordan, the former “Saturday Night Live” host, crashed at a small town in Washington state on Sunday, killing the comedian and her producer, according to law enforcement officials.

A second woman in the helicopter also died on the crash, but officials have not released her identity as of Monday, and police have not identified the third woman who was on the helicopter.

A witness to the crash told the Associated Press that the aircraft was turning south around 4 a.m. Pacific time, when it struck a wooded area off of Bodega Bay, a small town in Washington state.

One law enforcement official told the AP that it appeared the chopper clipped a tree.

The official said that there were no eyewitnesses and that the chopper appeared to have landed in a field.
