Holocaust Museum LA invited Kanye West to a private tour. Now it’s target of antisemitic attacks

Kanye West, who was welcomed to Los Angeles by the US Holocaust Museum last year, was targeted by antisemitic messages on social media after he was invited to a private tour of the museum. But the museum says it has no connection with the antisemitic message.

Kanye West was invited to a private tour of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum by the organization, which received a visit from the pop star by invitation last year.

Shortly after the invitation, on the basis of the museum’s invitation, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) put out a press statement denouncing West and accusing him of “whitewashing the Nazi holocaust.” In a video clip on YouTube, the ADL attacked West’s statements as “the most anti-Semitic statements that he has made.”

West has been accused of whitewashing the holocaust. When he visited Yad Vashem in Israel, he told CNN that “the biggest joke in the Holocaust is that only six million Jews survived” and that he “loves [Rabbi Menachem] Schneerson.”

But the Holocaust Museum LA, which also received a visit from him last year, has since invited West to a private tour. The Holocaust Museum LA, founded by Jewish survivor and philanthropist, Dr. Raphael W. Sussman, also claims that it has no connection with the antisemitic message.

But the Holocaust Museum LA was on Monday targeted by online antisemitic hate. The Museum received the attention of a user who uploaded the following message on the museum’s Facebook page:
